Although you probably don't want to think about it (as I found out with my encounter with an elephant), the plain fact is travel involves some unique risks. In fact, you'd be surprised by some of the things that could happen.
Ask yourself the following questions:

Could I miss my trip and lose my vacation investment too? Unfortunately, the answer is yes. If you have to cancel or postpone that dream vacation, you will probably lose some or all of the money you have pre-paid. Your assistance services include the use of a 24-Hour Emergency Hotline, which you can call collect from anywhere in the world.

Once you enroll, you will receive a complete Description of 24-Hour Emergency Hotline Services, along with the emergency hotline numbers to call for:

Provides assistance with arranging sporting, amusement park and entertainment ticketing, fine dining reservations, golf tee times and special events.

Description of Benefits - Refer to the contract for a full description of the benefits and exclusions.

The Freestyle Plan provides protection for certain non-refundable travel arrangements when you must cancel your vacation or your vacation is interrupted due to a covered reason.

Examples of covered reasons are:

If your trip is delayed for 6 hours or more, we will reimburse you, in the amount shown in the schedule for reasonable additional expenses incurred by you for hotel accommodation, meals, telephone calls and local transportation while you are delayed.

Baggage Loss Coverage

Reimburses you if your baggage is lost, stolen or damaged while on your trip. This coverage is secondary to any coverage provided by a common carrier.

If your baggage is delayed for more than 24 hours, you will be reimbursed for the purchase of essential items.

This coverage reimburses you for expenses incurred due to sickness or injury which occurs while on your trip. This coverage is secondary to any medical or health insurance available to you.

Not available to residents of Texas, and Oregon

This benefit provides primary coverage if the car you rented while on your trip is damaged due to collision, fire, flood, theft, vandalism, windstorm or hail.

Provides coverage for loss of life or limbs in the event of an accident while traveling as a ticketed passenger on a certified passenger aircraft provided by a regularly-scheduled airline.

means an illness, disease, or other condition during the 180-day period immediately prior to your effective date for which you or your Traveling Companion or Family Member:

1. received, or received a recommendation for, a diagnostic

test, examination, or medical treatment; or

2. took or received a prescription for drugs or medicine.

Item 2 of this definition does not apply to a condition which is treated or controlled solely through the taking of prescription drugs or medicine and remains treated or controlled without any adjustment or change in the required prescription throughout the 180-day period before coverage

is effective under this Policy.

1. the payment for this plan is received prior to/or within 24

hours of your final payment for your Covered Trip; and

2. you are not disabled from travel at the time you make

your plan payment; and

3. the booking for the Covered Trip must be the first and

only booking for this travel period and destination.

These services are only available through the Designated Assistance Provider. If you become sick or injured on your trip, the Assistance Provider will:

Emergency Medical Transportation services are provided only if authorized in advance by the Assistance Provider.

We will reimburse you for additional Covered Expenses up to the amount shown in the Schedule (included under Travel Delay) if you are delayed in reaching your return destination, due to a natural disaster or if you are confined in a Hospital as a patient. For this benefit, Covered Expenses means only the reasonable additional boarding fees at a licensed commercial kennel up to $50 per day and only up to 3 days after your Scheduled Return Date.
